ISO certifications and quality standards
ISO certification involves meeting specific international standards to demonstrate excellence in quality management or laboratory competence. These standards provide a framework on which we have developed robust processes, procedures, and systems that enhance our product and service quality while minimizing risks and errors. Compliance with ISO and quality standards helps us deliver products and services that meet or exceed expectations and helps promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within Lake Shore.
Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc. Quality Policy
To use the quality management system to continuously improve our design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales processes to deliver products and services that meet the current needs and future expectations of our customers.
ISO 9001
Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc. achieved certification to ISO 9001:1994 in 1998 at our Westerville, OH location. The company transitioned to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003, to ISO 9001:2008 in 2010, and to ISO 9001:2015 in 2017. Our Woburn location was added to our certification in 2023.
The certification recognizes Lake Shore's commitment to continuous improvement activities and to meeting or exceeding customer requirements.
Achieving ISO 9001 certification is a major accomplishment. It results from the dedication of the entire company and is evidence of Lake Shore’s continuous commitment to quality.
